Sukta 10.147
त्वं शर्धाय महिना गृणान उरु कृधि मघवञ्छग्धि रायः । त्वं नो मित्रो वरुणो न मायी पित्वो न दस्म दयसे विभक्ता ॥
tváṃ śárdhāya mahinā́ gṛṇānó urú kṛdhi maghavan chagdhí rāyáḥ | tváṃ no mitró váruṇo ná māyī́ pitvó ná dasma dayase vi-bhaktā́ ||
மகவன்! உன் மகிமையால் புகழப்பட்டவனே, எங்கள் கூட்டத்திற்காக நீ விரிவை அளித்து, செல்வத்தின் நிறைவையும் அருள்வாயாக. நீ எங்களுக்கு மித்ரன்-வருணன் போல்—ஒழுங்கமைக்கும் ஆற்றலில் ஞானமுடையவன், வஞ்சனையற்றவன்—ஆகிறாய்; அற்புதனே! தாராளத் தந்தை போல நீ கருணையுடன் பங்குகளைப் பகிர்ந்தளிக்கிறாய்.
