अकारि त इन्द्र गोतमेभिर्ब्रह्माण्योक्ता नमसा हरिभ्याम् । सुपेशसं वाजमा भरा नः प्रातर्मक्षू धियावसुर्जगम्यात् ॥

Transliteration

akā́ri te indra gotámebhir bráhmāṇy óktā námasā hári-bhyām | su-péśasaṃ vā́jam ā́ bharā naḥ prātár makṣū́ dhiyā́vasur jagamyāt ||

Translation

ஓ இந்திரா! கோதமர்கள் உனக்காக—உன் ஒளிமிக்க ‘ஹரி’ (இரு அசுவங்கள்) க்கு வணக்கத்துடன்—‘ப்ரஹ்ம’ (மந்திர-சக்தி) யை உருவாக்கி உரைத்தனர். எங்களுக்காக நன்கு வடிவமுற்ற, அழகிய ‘வாஜ’ (வலிமை/வெற்றி-செழிப்பு) யை கொண்டு வா; மேலும் விடியற்காலையில் ‘தியா-வஸு’ (ஊக்கமூட்டிய சிந்தனையின் செல்வம்) விரைவாக வந்து சேரட்டும்.
