स च मे प्रेषयामास शैवं धनुरनुत्तमम्।सीता कन्या च पद्माक्षी मह्यं वै दीयतामिति।।।।

Transliteration

sa ca me preṣayāmāsa śaivaṃ dhanur anuttamam |

sītā kanyā ca padmākṣī mahyaṃ vai dīyatām iti ||

Translation

அவன் எனக்கு செய்தி அனுப்பினான்—“ஒப்பற்ற சிவதனுசை எனக்குக் கொடுக்கவும்; மேலும் தாமரைக்கண்ணுடைய கன்னி சீதையையும் எனக்கே அளிக்கவும்” என்று।
