Transliteration

tāv ardhadivase śrāntau dṛṣṭvā putrau mahītale | ruroda putraśokena bāṣpaparyākulekṣaṇā ||

Translation

நண்பகலில் மிகச் சோர்ந்த தன் இரு புதல்வர்களை நிலத்தில் கிடப்பதைக் கண்டு, அவள் புதல்வர் துயரால் அழுதாள்; கண்ணீர் மேகமாய் கண்கள் மங்கின.
