पाण्डुरारुणवर्णानि स्रोतांसि विमलान्यपि।सुस्रुवुर्गिरिधातुभ्यस्सभस्मानि भुजङ्गवत्।।2.63.19।।

இயல்பில் தூய்மையான ஓடைகளும் மலைத் தாதுக்களின் காரணமாக வெளிறிய வெண்மை, செம்மை நிறங்களை எடுத்தன; சாம்பல் கலந்ததுபோல் பாம்புகளைப் போலச் சுரந்து ஓடின.
