चित्रकूटगमनम् तथा पर्णशालाप्रवेशः

ततस्सम्प्रस्थितः काले रामस्सौमित्रिणा सह।सीतां कमलपत्राक्षीमिदं वचनमब्रवीत्।।।।
tataḥ samprasthitaḥ kāle rāmaḥ saumitriṇā saha |
sītāṃ kamala-patrākṣīm idaṃ vacanam abravīt ||
பின்னர் தக்க நேரத்தில் சௌமித்ரி (லக்ஷ்மணன்) உடன் புறப்பட்ட ராமன், தாமரை இதழ் போன்ற கண்களையுடைய சீதையிடம் இவ்வார்த்தைகளைச் சொன்னான்.
