Departure from Ayodhya; Civic Lament and the Chariot’s Urgency
सृष्टस्त्वं वनवासाय स्वनुरक्तस्सुहृज्जने।रामे प्रमादं मा कार्षीः पुत्र भ्रातरि गच्छति।।।।
sṛṣṭas tvaṃ vanavāsāya svanuraktaḥ suhṛjjane |
rāme pramādaṃ mā kārṣīḥ putra bhrātari gacchati ||
நீ உன் அன்புச் சுஹ்ருதர்களிடம் மிகுந்த பற்றுடையவனாயினும், உனக்குக் குறிக்கப்பட்டது வனவாசமே. மகனே, அண்ணன் ராமன் புறப்படும்போது அவரைப் பற்றித் தளர்ச்சி/அலட்சியம் கொள்ளாதே।
Although deeply attached to your beloved ones, O Son, you are born to dwell in the forest. Never be inattentive towards your brother Rama who is on his way (to the forest).
