Adhyaya 80 — Vaivasvata Manvantara: Enumeration of Manus and the Eighth Manu Sāvarṇi
पाताल आस्ते योऽद्यापि दैत्यः समयबन्धनः ।
विरजाश्चार्ववीरश्च निर्मोहः सत्यवाक्कृतिः ।
विष्ण्वाद्याश्चैव तनयाः सावर्णस्य मनोर्नृपाः ॥
pātāla āste yo ’dyāpi daityaḥ samayabandhanaḥ / virajāś cārvavīraś ca nirmohaḥ satyavāk kṛtiḥ / viṣṇvādyāś caiva tanayāḥ sāvarṇasya manornṛpāḥ
அந்த தைத்யன் பலி இன்றும் உடன்படிக்கையால் கட்டுப்பட்டவனாய் பாதாளத்தில் வாழ்கிறான். விரஜ, சார்வவீர, நிர்மோஹ, சத்யவாக், க்ருதி மற்றும் விஷ்ணு முதலியோர்—இவர்கள் சாவர்ணி மனுவின் புதல்வர்-அரசர்கள்.
