द्वे वितस्ती तथा हस्तो ब्राह्म्यतीर्थादिवेष्टनः ।

चतुर्हस्तं धनुर्दण्डो नाडिकायुगमेव च ॥

Transliteration

dve vitastī tathā hasto brāhmyatīrthādi-veṣṭanaḥ | catur-hastaṃ dhanur-daṇḍo nāḍikā-yugam eva ca ||

Translation

இரண்டு விதஸ்திகள் ஒரு ஹஸ்தம் (க்யூபிட்); அது பிரம்மதீர்த்தம் முதலிய இடங்களிலிருந்து கையைச் சுற்றி அளந்து நிர்ணயிக்கப்படுகிறது. நான்கு ஹஸ்தங்கள் ஒரு தனுஸ்/தண்டம்; மேலும் நாடிகைகளின் ஜோடியும் குறிப்பிடப்படுகிறது.
