Adhyaya 32 — Rules for Parvana Śrāddha: Foods that Please the Ancestors and Items to Avoid
वर्ज्या मर्कटकाः श्राद्धे राजमाषास्तथाणवः ।
विप्राषिका मसूराश्च श्राद्धकर्मणि गर्हिताः ॥
varjyā markaṭakāḥ śrāddhe rājāmāṣās tathāṇavaḥ / viprāṣikā masūrāś ca śrāddhakarmaṇi garhitāḥ
மரகடகம், ராஜமாஷம், அணு, விப்ராஷிகா, மற்றும் மசூர் (பருப்பு)—இவை ஸ்ராத்தத்தில் தவிர்க்கப்பட வேண்டியவை; ஸ்ராத்தக் கிரியையில் இவை கண்டிக்கப்பட்டவை.
