असत्यार्थे नृणां याञ्चाप्रवणं जायते मनः ।
सत्यशेषे कथं याञ्चां मम जिह्वा करिष्यति ॥
asatyārthe nṛṇāṃ yāñcāpravaṇaṃ jāyate manaḥ |
satyaśeṣe kathaṃ yāñcāṃ mama jihvā kariṣyati ||
நோக்கம் பொய்யானதாக இருந்தால் மனம் யாசிப்பதிலிருந்து விலகும். எனக்குச் சத்தியமே மீதமிருந்தால், என் நாவு எவ்வாறு வேண்டுதல் சொல் உச்சரிக்கும்?
