Adhyaya 24 — Kuvalayashva’s Refusal of Gifts and the Vision of Madalasa’s Maya
यैर् न चिन्त्यं धनं किञ्चिन् मम गेहेऽस्ति नास्ति वा ।
पितृबाहुतरुच्छायां संश्रिताः सुखिनो हि ते ॥
yair na cintyaṃ dhanaṃ kiñcin mama gehe 'sti nāsti vā |
pitṛbāhutarucchāyāṃ saṃśritāḥ sukhino hi te ||
என் வீட்டில் செல்வம் உள்ளதா இல்லையா என்று அவர்கள் சிறிதும் கவலைப்பட வேண்டாம். தந்தையின் கரங்கள் எனும் மரத்தின் நிழலில் அடைக்கலம் கொண்டதால் அவர்கள் உண்மையிலேயே மகிழ்வர்.
