पिता च तं परिष्वज्य माता चान्ये च बान्धवाः ।
चिरं जीवेतिकल्याणीर्ददुस्तस्मै तदाशिषः ॥
pitā ca taṃ pariṣvajya mātā cānye ca bāndhavāḥ | ciraṃ jīveti kalyāṇīr dadus tasmai tadāśiṣaḥ ||
அவனது தந்தை அவனை அணைத்தார்; அவனது தாயும் மற்ற உறவினர்களும் அவ்வாறே அணைத்தனர். பின்னர் “நீ நீண்ட ஆயுளுடன் வாழ்வாயாக” என்று கூறி மங்கள ஆசீர்வாதங்களை அளித்தனர்।
