देवदूतेन यः पृष्ट: श्राद्धस्य विधिनिश्चय: । गतिं त्रयाणां पिण्डानां शृणुष्वावहितो मम

Transliteration

devadūtena yaḥ pṛṣṭaḥ śrāddhasya vidhiniścayaḥ | gatiṃ trayāṇāṃ piṇḍānāṃ śṛṇuṣvāvahito mama ||

Translation

தேவதூதன் கூறினான்: “ஸ்ராத்த விதியின் சரியான தீர்மானத்தை நீ என்னிடம் கேட்டாய். இப்போது மூன்று பிண்டங்களின் கதியை கேள்—கவனத்துடன் என் சொற்களை கேள்.”
