अपो गच्छति यो ह्वात्र शशिनं होष प्रीणयेत् । शशी प्रीणयते देवान् पितृश्चैव महामते
apo gacchati yo hvātra śaśinaṃ hoṣa prīṇayet | śaśī prīṇayate devān pitṝṃś caiva mahāmate ||
தேவதூதன் கூறினான்: “ஓ மகாமதி! இங்கே யார் நீரை அர்ப்பணித்து சந்திரனைத் திருப்திப்படுத்துகிறாரோ—இதை அறிக—அவர் தேவர்களையும் பித்ருக்களையும் திருப்திப்படுத்துகிறார்.”
