वासिष्ठकथनम् (आदित्य–सोमवंशवर्णनम् तथा रुद्रसहस्रनाम-प्रशंसा)

निशाचरः प्रेतचारी सर्वदर्शी महेश्वरः बहुभूतो बहुधनः सर्वसारो ऽमृतेश्वरः

Transliteration

niśācaraḥ pretacārī sarvadarśī maheśvaraḥ bahubhūto bahudhanaḥ sarvasāro 'mṛteśvaraḥ

Translation

அவன் இரவில்ச் சுற்றுபவன், பிரேதகணங்களுடன் உலாவுபவன்; அனைத்தையும் காணும் மகேஸ்வரன். பலரூபமாய் வெளிப்பட்டு, எண்ணற்ற சக்தி-செல்வங்களால் நிறைந்தவன்; அனைத்தின் சாரமும், அம்ருதத்தின் ஈசனும் அவனே.
