भार्गवात्पादहीनस्तु विज्ञेयो वै बृहस्पतिः पादहीनौ वक्रसौरी तथायामप्रमाणतः

Transliteration

bhārgavātpādahīnastu vijñeyo vai bṛhaspatiḥ pādahīnau vakrasaurī tathāyāmapramāṇataḥ

Translation

பார்கவ (சுக்கிரன்) அளவுடன் ஒப்பிடுகையில், பிருகஸ்பதி ஒரு பாதம் குறைவென அறிய வேண்டும்; அதே யாம-பிரமாணப்படி வக்கிர சௌரி (சனி) இரண்டு பாதம் குறைவென கூறப்படுகிறது।
