Adhyaya 104
अथ शृणु भगवन् स्तवच्छलेन कथितमजेन्द्रमुखैः सुरासुरेशैः /* मखमदनयमाग्निदक्षयज्ञक्षपणविचित्रविचेष्टितं क्षमस्व
atha śṛṇu bhagavan stavacchalena kathitamajendramukhaiḥ surāsureśaiḥ /* makhamadanayamāgnidakṣayajñakṣapaṇavicitraviceṣṭitaṃ kṣamasva
இப்போது, ஓ பகவனே! பிரம்மாவும் தேவர்‑அசுரர் தலைவர்களும் ஸ்தோத்திரத்தின் போர்வையில் கூறியதை கேளும். மகத்தின் அடக்கம், மதனனின் அகந்தைத் தாழ்த்தல், யம‑அக்னியின் கட்டுப்பாடு, தக்ஷ யாகத்தின் வியத்தகு அழிவு—இவ்விசித்திரச் செயல்களை மன்னிப்பாயாக।
