Sukta 3
यस्त्वा॑ शाले प्रतिगृ॒ह्णाति॒ येन॒ चासि॑ मि॒ता त्वम्। उ॒भौ मा॑नस्य पत्नि॒ तौ जीव॑तां ज॒रद॑ष्टी
yás tvā́ śāle pratigṛhṇā́ti yéna cā́si mitā́ tvám | ubháu mā́nasyá pátnī táu jī́vatāṃ jaradáṣṭī
He who, O Hall, receives thee, and he by whom thou art measured out—let both, O wife of Māna, live on, beholding old age.
ஓ சாலையே! உன்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்பவனும், யாரால் நீ அளந்து நிர்ணயிக்கப்படுகிறாயோ அவனும்—இவ்விருவரும், ஓ ‘மான’னின் மனைவியே, வாழ்ந்து முதுமையைப் பார்த்து நீண்ட ஆயுளுடன் இருக்கட்டும்.
