Sanskrit (Devanagari)

विजयः। यथा वृक्षमशनिर्विश्वाहा हन्त्यप्रति। एवाहमद्य कितवानक्षैर्बध्यासमप्रति

IAST Transliteration

yáthā vṛkṣám aśánir viśvā́hā hánty apratí | evā́ham adyá kitavā́n ákṣair bádhyāsam apratí ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

As the thunderbolt ever smiteth the tree, resistless—so may I to-day, resistless, bind fast the gambler with his dice.

Translation

வெற்றி. எவ்வாறு வஜ்ரம் (அஶனி) எப்போதும் எதிர்க்க முடியாதவாறு மரத்தைத் தாக்குகிறதோ—அவ்வாறே நான் இன்று எதிர்க்க முடியாதவனாய், சூதாட்டக்காரனை அவன் பாசைகள் (அக்ஷைः) உடன் உறுதியாகக் கட்டுவேனாக.
