Sukta 19
अस॒द् भूम्याः॒ सम॑भव॒त् तद् यामे॑ति म॒हद् व्यचः॑ । तद् वै ततो॑ विधू॒पाय॑त् प्र॒त्यक् क॒र्तार॑मृच्छतु
ásat bhū́myāḥ sám abhavat tád yā́m eti mahád vyácaḥ | tád vái táto vidhūpā́yat prátyák kartā́ram ṛcchatu ||
From the earth the Unbeing came together into being; it goes its course, great and wide-spreading. Then indeed it smoked forth; let it reach back upon the doer (of the harm).
பூமியிலிருந்து அசத் (இல்லாமை) ஒன்று சேர்ந்து சத் (இருப்பாக) ஆனது; அது தன் வழியைச் செல்கிறது—மகத்தும் பரந்தும் விரிந்தது. பின்னர் அது உண்மையிலே புகைபோல் எழுந்தது; (தீங்கு செய்த) கர்த்தாவின்மேல் திரும்பிச் சென்று அது அடையட்டும்.
