Sukta 19
वि॒भि॒न्द॒ती श॒तशा॑खा विभि॒न्दन् नाम॑ ते पि॒ता। प्र॒त्यग् वि भि॑न्धि॒ त्वं तं यो अ॒स्माँ अ॑भि॒दास॑ति
vibhindátī śatá-śākhā vibhindán nā́ma te pitā́ | prátyag ví bhindhi tváṁ táṁ yó asmā́n abhidā́sati ||
Splitting-asunder, hundred-branched—‘Splitter’ was the name thy father gave thee. Turn back and split in twain that man who bears us malice and assails us.
பிளப்பவள், நூறு கிளைகள் உடையவள்—‘விபிந்தன்’ என்பதே உன் தந்தை உனக்கிட்ட பெயர். எம்மேல் பகை கொண்டு எம்மைத் தாக்குகிற அவனை நீ எதிர்திசை திருப்பி, இரண்டாகப் பிளந்து விடு.
