त्वां सुतस्य पीतये प्रत्नमिन्द्र हवामहे । कुशिकासो अवस्यवः
IAST Transliteration
tvā́ṁ sutásya pītáye pratnáṁ índra havāmahe | kuśikā́so avasyávaḥ
English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)
Thee, Indra, the ancient one, for drinking of the pressed Soma we invoke— we Kuśikas, craving succor.
Translation
இந்திரனே! பிழிந்த சோமத்தின் பானத்திற்காக, பழமையானவனாகிய (ப்ரத்ன) உன்னை நாம் அழைக்கிறோம்; நாங்கள் குஷிகர்கள், துணை வேண்டுபவர்கள்.
