bhāvābhāvavihīno ’smi bhāsāhīno ’smi bhāsmy aham | śūnyāśūnyaprabhāvo ’smi śobhanāśobhano ’smy aham ||5||

I am devoid of being and non-being; I am without (objectified) appearance/light, yet I shine. I am the ground/power of the empty and the non-empty; I am the beautiful and the unbeautiful.

Self-luminosity of consciousness (svayaṃ-prakāśatva); transcendence of sat/asat predicates; non-dual ground of phenomenaMahavakya: Supports mahāvākya purport by negating all ontological predicates (sat/asat) and affirming self-luminosity—consistent with ‘प्रज्ञानं ब्रह्म’ (Prajñānam brahma) as consciousness itself.YajurKṛṣṇa Yajurveda (often linked with Maitrāyaṇī tradition; later recensional circulation) ShakhaChandas: Anuṣṭubh-śloka (classical śloka meter; post-Vedic style)
