अस्मिन्मन्वन्तरे क्षिप्तः सागरैश्च चतुर्दिशम् । तस्येदं कीर्तितं देवि नाम सागरसंज्ञितम्
asminmanvantare kṣiptaḥ sāgaraiśca caturdiśam | tasyedaṃ kīrtitaṃ devi nāma sāgarasaṃjñitam
देवि, अस्मिन्मन्वन्तरे स चतुर्दिशं सागरैः क्षिप्तः प्रसारितश्च; अत एतत् स्थानं ‘सागर’ इति नाम्ना कीर्त्यते।
