तासु स्नात्वा महाभागा ब्रह्मपुत्रा यशस्विनः । नाम तस्य तदा चक्रुः पंचनद्यश्च तापसाः
tāsu snātvā mahābhāgā brahmaputrā yaśasvinaḥ | nāma tasya tadā cakruḥ paṃcanadyaśca tāpasāḥ
तासु नदीषु स्नात्वा महाभागा यशस्विनो ब्रह्मपुत्रास्तापसाः तस्य स्थानस्य तदा नाम चक्रुः—‘पञ्चनदी’ इति।
