jamadagniruvāca | homadhenuriyaṃ rājanmamaikā prāṇasaṃmatā | adeyā sarvadā pūjyā tasmānnārhasi yācitum

जमदग्निरुवाच—राजन्, एषा मम होमधेनुः, ममैका प्राणसमता निधिः। एषा कदापि न देया, सर्वदा पूजनीया; तस्मात् त्वं ताम् याचितुं नार्हसि।
