Sumitra’s Consolation to Kausalya
शयानमनघं रात्रौ पितेवाभिपरिष्वजन्।रश्मिभि स्संस्पृशन् शीतैश्चन्द्रमाह्लादयिष्यति।।।।
śayānam anaghaṃ rātrau pitevābhipariṣvajan | raśmibhissaṃspṛśan śītaiś candramāhlādayiṣyati ||
रात्रौ शयानमनघं पितेवाभिपरिष्वजन्। शीतै रश्मिभिः संस्पृशन् चन्द्रः तमाह्लादयिष्यति॥
While that sinless Rama sleeps at night, the Moon will comfort him by touching him with cool beams like a father embracing his son.
