Narada (in dialogue with Sanatkumara, narrating Tirtha-mahatmya)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It maps specific sacred fords on the Yamunā—Agni-tīrtha to the south and Dharma-rāja’s Naraka-tīrtha to the west—showing that pilgrimage (tīrtha-yātrā) is also a disciplined movement through a dharmic sacred geography.
While not explicitly teaching bhakti practices, the verse supports bhakti through tīrtha-sevā: visiting places associated with deities like Agni and Dharma-rāja is presented as a traditional aid to purification and devotion-oriented living.
It reflects applied sacred topography and ritual orientation—knowing directions (south/west) and place-names used in tirtha-yatra procedures—rather than a specific Vedanga like Vyākaraṇa; it is practical pilgrimage-ritual knowledge (tīrtha-vidhi context).
