गच्छन् तिष्ठन् वा, जाग्रन् स्वपन् अपि वा। नरसिंहकृता गुप्तिः; वासुदेवमयो ह्यहम्॥
Narada (teaching in a devotional-protective context; Narasiṁha/Vāsudeva remembrance)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"bhakti","secondary_rasa":"vira","emotional_journey":"From everyday states (walking/standing/waking/sleeping) to confident assurance of constant divine protection through Narasiṃha, culminating in identity-pervasion by Vāsudeva."}
It teaches uninterrupted divine refuge: remembrance of Narasiṁha and identity-with/absorption-in Vāsudeva becomes a continuous shield in all states—movement, rest, wakefulness, and sleep.
Bhakti is shown as constant smaraṇa (remembrance) and surrender—seeing oneself as vāsudeva-maya (pervaded by Viṣṇu) so that protection is not occasional but ever-present.
Not a direct Vedāṅga lesson; the practical takeaway is mantra-smaraṇa and protective recitation (rakṣā-prayoga) centered on Narasiṁha/Vāsudeva, applicable as a daily discipline.
