FAQs

It emphasizes concentrated awareness (tad-gata-mānasaḥ) as the foundation for effective devotion—when the mind is absorbed, recitation of Vaiṣṇava mantras and hymns becomes a direct act of worship aligned with Viṣṇu.

Bhakti is shown as a lived practice: attentive contemplation followed by vocal recitation of Viṣṇu-centered mantras and a stotra-like hymn, indicating devotion through both inner absorption and outward praise.

The verse points to disciplined mantra-usage and correct recitation (linked with Śikṣā—phonetics—and Vyākaraṇa—proper word-forms) as practical supports for devotional practice, even though it does not explicitly teach a technical rule.
