FAQs

It teaches niścaya (firm resolve): spiritual progress in a Tirtha-Mahatmya setting comes from dropping vikalpa (wavering doubt) and trusting that divine support can overturn ordinary expectations.

Bhakti is shown as confident surrender—when doubt is abandoned, the devotee experiences the Lord’s readiness to assist, described here with the strong image of the Lord acting “like a servant” to the devotee’s cause.

A practical takeaway aligned with Vyākaraṇa is the precision of terms like vikalpa (mental indecision) and tvaritam (prompt action), emphasizing disciplined speech and thought as supports for dharmic action; no specific ritual/astrology procedure is stated in this verse.
