Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It defines the “best devotees” as those whose devotion is sustained through three pillars of practice—ritual service (agni-kārya), mantra repetition (pañcākṣara-japa), and steady meditation (Śiva-dhyāna).
Bhakti here is not merely emotional praise; it is lived devotion expressed through disciplined worship, constant remembrance via mantra, and inner absorption through meditation—marking the devotee as bhāgavata-uttama.
Ritual application is implied through agni-kārya (proper performance of fire rites), aligning with Kalpa (the Vedāṅga of ritual procedure) and the practical discipline of mantra-japa in daily worship.
