Narada
Vrata: none (Śiva-abhisheka; Monday/Aṣṭamī observance)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches that sincere devotion (bhakti) sanctifies even simple offerings, and that Śiva-abhisheka performed with faith can grant the highest fruit—Śiva-sāyujya (union with Śiva).
The verse prioritizes inner devotion over material grandeur: even coconut water becomes a potent offering when the act is performed with heartfelt bhakti toward Śiva.
It reflects Jyotiṣa-based ritual timing—tithi (Aṣṭamī) and vāra (Monday/Induvāra)—showing how calendrical considerations guide vrata and pūjā observances.
