एवं प्रभावा सा देवी गङ्गा विष्णुपदोद्भवा । यस्याः स्मरणमात्रेण मुच्यते सर्वपातकैः ॥ ९६ ॥
evaṃ prabhāvā sā devī gaṅgā viṣṇupadodbhavā | yasyāḥ smaraṇamātreṇa mucyate sarvapātakaiḥ || 96 ||
एवं महिमा सा देवी गङ्गा विष्णुपदोद्भवा; यस्याः स्मरणमात्रेण सर्वपातकैः प्रमुच्यते॥
