सेकान् कृत्वा तेषां संख्याम् उदाहरेदिति पुराविदो मुनयः प्राहुः। एते वर्णसेकाः उत्तरोत्तरं क्रमशः उच्चादधः यथास्थानं विन्यस्ताः॥१७॥
