त्रिघ्नाद्भजन्मूलकृत्या समं मूले न्यसेत्फलम् । तत्कृतित्वेन निहतान्निघ्नीं चापि विशोधयेत् ॥ २० ॥

त्रिघ्ना-नाम्न्या ओषध्या मूलकृत्यां विधाय, मूले तया सह फलं न्यसेत्। तस्याः कृत्यायाः प्रभावेन निहताः (शत्रुकृत्याभिघातिताः) प्रशाम्यन्ति, निघ्नी-शक्तिरपि शुद्ध्यति॥
