नारद उवाच
Even when empowered or instructed to carry out destruction, one should weigh the ethical aim: the welfare of beings (prajānāṃ hita). Reverence toward divine authority does not cancel moral discernment; compassion and restraint can be dharmic responses.
Nārada narrates that a woman, having been spoken to by Brahmā, stands respectfully with folded hands and feels inward joy; however, motivated by concern for the good of creatures, she refrains from directing her resolve toward the act of destruction (saṃhāra).
