Sukta 1
इन्द्रः सेनां मोहयतु मरुतो घ्नन्त्वोजसा । चक्षूंस्यग्निरा दत्तां पुनरेतु पराजिता
índraḥ sénāṃ moháyatu marúto ghnántv ójasā | cákṣūṃsy agnír ā́ dattā́ṃ púnar etu párājitā ||
Let Indra bewilder the hostile host; let the Maruts smite them down with might. Let Agni take away their eyes; and, routed, let (our advantage) come again unto us.
इन्द्रः शत्रुसेनां मोहयतु; मरुतोऽोजसा तान् घ्नन्तु। अग्निस्तेषां चक्षूंषि आदत्ताम्; पराजितेषु (अस्माकं जयः) पुनरेतु।
