शिवधर्मे ऽधिकुर्वीत यदीच्छेच्छिवमात्मनः
śivadharme 'dhikurvīta yadīcchecchivamātmanaḥ
Если кто желает Шиву для себя — то есть единения с Шивой и Его освобождающей милости, — тому следует ещё усерднее предаваться Дхарме Шивы (Śiva-dharma).
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Paśupatinātha
Role: liberating
Offering: pushpa
It teaches that attaining Śiva (His grace and liberation) is not accidental—one must intensify commitment to Śiva-dharma: devotion, purity, and steady Śaiva practice leading the soul (paśu) toward Pati.
Śiva-dharma is commonly lived through Saguna worship—especially reverence to the Śiva-liṅga—where disciplined pūjā, mantra, and reverent conduct become the means for receiving Śiva’s anugraha (grace).
It implies intensified Śaiva sādhana such as regular liṅga-pūjā, japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and observances like bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa as supportive disciplines.
