It emphasizes that Shaiva worship is completed through orderly, disciplined conduct—honoring the sanctified remnants (prasāda) and concluding the rite with auspicious orientation and sacred sound, which steadies the mind toward Shiva.
In Linga/Saguna Shiva worship, the rite is not only inner devotion but also correct outer observance—offerings, prasāda protocol, and concluding gestures—done as service to Shiva’s manifested presence and His sacred sphere.
Offer bali in the prescribed order, then conclude by stepping out with auspicious music and standing facing the enjoined direction—an external discipline that supports inward recollection of Shiva (often alongside japa such as the Panchakshara).
