Затем, предварительно очистив руки, следует вновь совершить кара-ньясу и вознести подношение вверх Шиве, пребывающему в небесном пространстве, — Шиве, чья форма есть Солнце (Адитья).
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Rudra
Significance: Contemplation of Śiva as Āditya (solar form) aligns the worshipper’s inner prāṇa and awareness with the cosmic regulator; nyāsa and hand-purification prepare the paśu for disciplined upāsanā.
Role: teaching
Cosmic Event: Solar contemplation (Āditya-mūrti) as cosmic witness and regulator
It teaches that worship becomes effective when the sādhaka purifies the instruments of action (the hands) and then contemplates Śiva as the all-pervading Pati—present as the sky and manifest as the Sun—uniting inner purity with cosmic meditation.
Although the highest truth is Śiva beyond attributes, the verse emphasizes Saguna upāsanā by meditating on Śiva in a perceivable form—Āditya—so the mind can concentrate; this devotional focus supports Linga-worship by training attention and reverence toward Śiva’s manifest presence.
Perform kara-śodhana (hand purification), then kara-nyāsa (placing the mantra on the hands), and mentally offer the act of worship upward while visualizing Śiva as Āditya in the firmament—often coordinated with japa of the Pañcākṣarī ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya").
