अधि द्यामस्थाद्वृषभो विचक्षणोऽरूरुचद्वि दिवो रोचना कविः । राजा पवित्रमत्येति रोरुवद्दिवः पीयूषं दुहते नृचक्षसः ॥
ádhi dyā́m asthād vṛṣabhó vi-cakṣaṇó ’rūrucad ví divó rocanā́ kavíḥ | rājā pavítram átyeti róruvad diváḥ pīyū́ṣaṃ duhate nṛ-cákṣasaḥ ||
Над небом утвердился Бык, всевидящий Кави; он озарил, заставил вспыхнуть светлые просторы неба. Царь с громким ревом проходит сквозь павитру; риши, наделённые человеческим зрением, выдоят небесный пи́юш — нектар.
