Поставив повеление отца превыше всего, праведный Рама исполнял все государственные дела, совершая то, что было и приятно, и полезно для блага народа.
Righteous Rama discharged his duties towards the citizens for their all-round comfort and welfare giving top psriority to (the execution of) the command of his father.
Dharma is shown as balancing obedience to rightful authority (the father’s command) with responsibility toward society—serving citizens through actions that are both pleasant and genuinely beneficial.
After Rama’s marriage and return to Ayodhya, the text summarizes his exemplary conduct in public life—how he prioritizes his father’s instructions while fulfilling civic obligations.
Disciplined dutifulness: Rama acts with integrity, combining respect for paternal authority with compassionate public service.
