Ayodhya Return, Bridal Reception, and Bharata’s Departure
अभिवाद्य ततो रामो वसिष्ठप्रमुखानृषीन्। पितरं विह्वलं दृष्ट्वा प्रोवाच रघुनन्दन:।।1.77.2।।
abhivādya tato rāmo vasiṣṭhapramukhān ṛṣīn |
pitaraṃ vihvalaṃ dṛṣṭvā provāca raghunandanaḥ || 1.77.2 ||
Затем Рама, радость рода Рагху, приветствовав Васиштху и прочих риши и увидев отца смятённым, обратился к нему с речью.
After the departure of Bharata, mighty Rama and Lakshmana continued to serve their god-like father.
Reverence to sages and compassion toward parents: dharma begins with honouring spiritual authority and responding to a parent’s distress.
Rāma observes Daśaratha’s agitation and, after greeting the sages, prepares to inquire and respond.
Sensitivity and respectful conduct—Rāma balances deference to sages with attentive concern for his father.
