Visvamitra grants refuge; the curse upon Vasishta’s sons
तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा दिशो जग्मुस्तदाज्ञया।आजग्मुरथ देशेभ्य स्सर्वेभ्यो ब्रह्मवादिन:।।1.59.9।।
tasya tad vacanaṃ śrutvā diśo jagmus tadājñayā |
ājagmur atha deśebhyaḥ sarvebhyo brahmavādinaḥ ||1.59.9||

At his command the disciples set out in different directions. And as a result, expounders of the vedas began arriving from various countries.
Dharma is strengthened by collective assent: the learned respond to a legitimate sacred call, showing social cooperation in upholding righteous rites.
Viśvāmitra’s disciples disperse to invite seers; consequently, Vedic authorities arrive from many lands for the sacrificial proceedings.
Obedience and diligence in service—disciples promptly carry out the sage’s directive.
