Praise of cow-gift and ghee-centered recitation
गोप्रदानीति वक्तव्यमर्घ्यवस्त्रवसुप्रद: । ऊर्ध्वास्या भवितव्या च वैष्णवीति च चोदयेत्
bhīṣma uvāca | gopradānīti vaktavyam arghyavastravasupradaḥ | ūrdhvāsyā bhavitavyā ca vaiṣṇavīti ca codayet ||
Бхишма сказал: «Его следует официально провозгласить “дарителем коров”, а также тем, кто дарует почётные подношения, одежды и богатство. Следует побуждать его держать лицо поднятым (в благой уверенности) и обращаться к нему, ободряя, как к “вайшнави” (Vaiṣṇavī) — преданному Вишну.»
