व्यजयच्छत्रुसंघांश्व देवानां स्वेन तेजसा । अत्रिणा दह्ामानांस्तान्‌ दृष्टवा देवा महासुरान्‌

Transliteration

vyajayac chatrusaṅghāṁś ca devānāṁ svena tejasā | atriṇā dahyamānāṁs tān dṛṣṭvā devā mahāsurān |

Translation

Бхишма сказал: «Собственным духовным сиянием он одолел полчища врагов богов. Увидев, как могучие асуры опаляются силой Атри, боги, обретя безопасность под его защитой, проявили свою доблесть и перебили тех дайтьев. Так Атри вновь сделал Солнце блистательным, избавил богов от беды и обрёк асуров на погибель».
