बृहस्पतिर्नः परि पातु पश्चादुतोत्तरस्मादधरादघायोः । इन्द्रः पुरस्तादुत मध्यतो नः सखा सखिभ्यो वरिवः कृणोतु
bṛ́haspátir naḥ pári pātu paścā́d utóttarasmā́d ádharād aghāyóḥ | índraḥ purástād utá madhyató naḥ sákhā sákhibhyo várivaḥ kṛṇotu ||
May Bṛhaspati guard us round about—from behind, and from the north, and from below, against the evil. Let Indra, from the front and from the midst, as friend, make for us and for our friends free scope and safety.
Да охраняет нас Бṛхаспати со всех сторон: сзади, и с севера, и снизу — от злых сил. А Индра спереди и из середины, как друг, да устроит нам и нашим друзьям простор, безопасность и защиту.
