इहैव लोके तिष्ठन् हि ब्रह्मभूयाय कल्प्यते स्वाध्यायानामुपाकर्म श्रावण्यां श्रावणेन तु

ihaiva loke tiṣṭhan hi brahmabhūyāya kalpyate svādhyāyānāmupākarma śrāvaṇyāṃ śrāvaṇena tu

Воистину, оставаясь в этом самом мире, человек становится пригодным к достижению состояния Брахмана; ибо обряд возобновления (упакарма, upākarma) ведических чтений (свадхьяя, svādhyāya) следует совершать в Шравани (Śrāvaṇī), в полнолуние месяца Шравана (Śrāvaṇa).
